GRACE is a very small doe and so sweet. She is a gold roan with frosted ears and muzzle, tan trim and a partial white belt. Grace has beautiful conformation with a loooong, deep body, level topline, well extended brisket, and strong feet and legs. Grace's udder is VERY nice. It is tightly attached, super soft, and capacious. She is very easy to milk with her nice, long, correctly placed teats. She also has very high butterfat like her granddam, Misty. In '09, Grace's average butterfat was 6.30% with her highest test coming back at almost 9%! In 2010, her average BF was even higher at 6.43%. She also had a very high protein test with an average of 4.27% in 2010. In 2011, she had even higher BF with 7%! Her volume of milk was rather low her first two freshenings, when she had single does, but she freshened with triplet bucks in 2011, and her volume went WAY up. She is milks around 5-6 lbs a day for most of her lactation. Very nice production for a doe her size. She is still going strong in 2013 with her 5th freshening where she gave us QUADRUPLETS. We have retained her son, Comet, as a herdsire. We also have two of her daughters in the herd, Hope and Gloria.

A couple more pictures from Grace's v-show photo shoot. The picture on the left shows her more natural stance - you can see her length better, but doesn't show her udder as well. She's such a pretty girl!
Grace's natural stance in the barnyard. Check out the length and depth of body, width between the hocks and nice set to her legs (her feet need trimming). Love this little doe! Not uddered up, maybe 6 hours of milk...
Grace's udder at 7 years old. Still super snug, well attached and very capacious. I love this udder!!!
Grace's udder at 8 years old. Still as nice as ever. These photos were taken about a week after she kidded, so she's still a little messy and hasn't had a thorough udder clip yet.
Grace's udder at 9yrs old. The picture on the right shows her udder after milking and demonstrates how well she milks down.
