Nellie is the result of an intentional linebreeding on one of my favorite ever does, Echo Hill's Molly O'Malley (Dolly's dam and the dam or Remmy's granddam). Nellie's dam, Dolly has a VERY nice, super well attached udder with lots of milk. She is also extremely easy to milk. I am very happy with her udder and production, often giving over a gallon a day with 7# being her norm. Nellie's sire is out of the best uddered doe in our herd, Green Gables Cali Luna 4*P. Her udder is the best I've ever bred and I cannot find a fault with it - high, wide rear udder, snug attachments with a nice medial, correctly placed and sized teats that are easy to milk, excellent capacity, smooth foreudder... She has the ideal udder. Nellie freshened with a beautiful, socked on udder. Super snug attachments all around. Teat placement is pretty good and if she follows the way her line matures, it should improve, along with her medial division with a 2nd freshening. Her conformation is very nice being long and wide with correct feet and legs. About the only thing I'd change is her rump angle as she's a little steeper than I like.. She also has lovely breed character.
